New blast in MoscowAt 6 p.m., Aug 8, 2000 in the subway at the Pushkin square the blast banged. By the evening data of the same day 7 persons died, 53 wounded. At once there appeared a version about "chechenian trace" and about connection of this terrorist action with the autumn blasts in the capital. To the place arrived Lughkov, Shoigu and Sergey Ivanov (Sovbez secretary). Patrushev was recalled from the holiday. In his absence all comments were given from the name of FSB by Pronichev. At the place there worked the blast technics by Moscow FSB Department. Next morning Pronichev stated that there had been captured two suspected persons - a dagestanian and a chechenian. They purports had vakhabits literature and drugs. Later it was found out that these two persons didn’t have any attitude towards the events at the Pushkin square and they had been captured by GUBOP by its own operation. In two days the official persons by MVD accepted that the chechenican version of the blast was not the priority and the economic version became the first one. On August 16, it was found out that the spread earlier a photorobot by the law machinery - is incorrect and the real one composed on the basis of the evidence by a guard of one commercial structures at the Pushkin square was not given to the press not to frighten away the criminal.
